A VERY WARM Welcome to our school
At Scremerston Primary School we have hard-working, dedicated staff, a committed Governing Body and a supportive PTFA who together contribute positively to the ethos of our school. As a team, we strive to create the best learning environment possible where all the children in our care are valued and reach their potential. We aim to ensure that every child is treated as an individual, is safe, cared for and achieves success.
Scremerston Primary School is a small rural Primary School located in a beautiful area of North Northumberland. We are a friendly, welcoming school with a capacity of 70 children aged 4 – 11 years (published admission number 10). Set within Scremerston, a small village situated close to the A1 and just south of the historic border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the school provides attractive and exciting school grounds with a delightful wooden play area, log circle and large field where the children enjoy exploring. We also have a garden with decking to the rear of the school which includes an area for children to grow vegetables. We have a Community Building within the grounds which was built in 2011 to accommodate our Lucky Ducks Pre-School and which has a community room that is available for members of the public to use on request, when it is not being used as an additional classroom.
