PTFA Dates for your Diary...
Friday 11th April - Easter Raffle & Easter Egg hunt
Thursday 1st May - Bump, Babies & Toddlers group 10am - 11am
We arranged an exciting ‘grown ups’ only pottery workshop delivered by Ravnclay on Thursday 28th November! It was not a fundraising event, we thought it would be nice to share a social occasion and enjoy something a bit different! There were lots of laughs and lots of serious concentration faces!
THANK YOU to Ravnclay and thank you to everyone who was able to come along.
We are incredibly lucky to have a very active PTFA at Scremerston First School.
They are involved in many of our school events and fundraising initiatives throughout the year such as coffee mornings, bingo, Christmas, Easter or Summer fairs, family events etc.
Our PTFA also voluntarily run our Bumps, Babies & Toddlers Group on the first Thursday of every month in our on-site nursery, Lucky Ducks! This group is free of charge and is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to become familiar with our on-site nursery as well as our school!
If any parents would like to find out more about our PTFA please contact Carly in the office 01289 307536.

February's group could only be Valentines themed! We had heart shaped watermelon pieces, strawberries and grapes to make fruit kebabs with thanks to Shona. We had some pink sand in our sand tray, Valentines ducks, a lovely flufffy heart shaped mat and lots of other feely, noisy things in our free play stations along with Valentines pictures to colour in! After snack time, Hayley told a 'love' themed story to finish off the session.
Our January group was winter themed so the children decorated snowmen biscuits and played with arctic animals alongside lots of other fun activities before snack & story time!
Our Christmas themed group was a huge success with homemade gingerbread to decorate, lots of Christmas feels like tinsel and a special visitor!
